It tastes like a pimped-up tripel to me, it's good but not superb…
-
Well thanks for saving me the pain of trying to track it down.

Yona Yona Real ale from Nagano prefecture, Japan. Available in hand pumps in a few select pubs in Tokyo

O'Dell's Myrcenary IPA is one of my favorite IPA's for sure. I'm pretty sure it's a double IPA. Haven't had the regular one yet.

This is quite delicious. Local brewer, Belgian Quad brewed with chocolate.

As y'all know I bought all three of the Malheur big bottled bastards… The Dark Brut, The Brut, and The Extra Brut... Now these aren't characters in a Leone western... They're beers... And what's more: after the disappointment that was the Dark Brut, this standard, blond Brut is completely making up for it...
11°... Pours like a cider, with a more substantial head... Very rich and deep in taste... One of the best blonds ever...

Hmmm, really builds the suspense for the Extra Brut, doesn't it?

Me mate and I are going back to GEERS tomorrow… He called me, all excited, as I texted him I was making a list for tomorrow... He's staying for dinner, of course, so I asked him what beer he wanted as an "apéritive"... "Oh I dunno: do you have Stella?"... I swear we laughed for five minutes straight...
So yeah: it's either Malheur "Extra Brut", Bush "Prestige", Gouden Carolus blue ribboned "Cuvée van de keizer" or maybe just a simple Straffe Hendrik quadrupel ale...
Belgians…
