A little something for Zhivago, some Anderson Valley SUMMER SOLSTICE. And some deliciousness from Santa Fe with the OKTOBERFEST. If you can find the Summer Solstice you need to try this, there is not another beer like it anywhere, its like cream soda with alcohol, but its not sweet, big caramel and vanilla flavor, so refreshing!

Never a big cider fan but this was delicious. I picked up a 6 pack of this and Angry Orchard. Naturally gluten free and apparently very little preservatives. If all cider is this good. Maybe something I will frequent more often."Obstacles are stepping-stones That guide us to our goals"

We have a local thing here called Crispin. Haven't found any I like but this looks interesting from their "Artisinal Reserves"; I think that they sell nationally, let me know if you want me to find this or any of their others. I owe Zhivago some beer so will have an opportunity to ship soon:

EDIT: This "brut" thing sounds more my style (some of these that I've had are too sweet for me) and has a good nutritional profile too: http://www.crispincider.com/products/the-classic-blue-line/crispin-brut/

Holy shit check this site out:
Crispin did come out on top when I queried Cider, though it was a different flavor. LMK if you want me to ship.

Packed up Zhivago's beers (2 local DIPAs, a saison, and a coffee thing that's a porter in a brown ale's body) and this for D666:
Japan, Belgium+Canada, and Czechoslovakia get their influence into the first three varieties of a Minnesota hard cider, and then a dry one with a great carb profile. I also got one of each of these for myself.

Thanks brother, all low sugar?

Well some more than others I think… The dry ones are super super low. I don't think any have more than 20g of carbs, the dry is 14g and I think the others are like 17g...

Cuvée van de Keizer red 2012. As you all know I think of the blue (brown) version of this as some of the best beer in the world… The blond, in its category, is ridiculously good as well... If you can score one of these bottles, don't hesitate... Wonderful...
PS: nerd info… Glass on the left has been in the dishwasher, that was before I read that you never should wash your beer glasses that way... It fucks with the foam... And the proof is in the pudding... My glass has a nice, full, creamy, puffy head; my brother's dissappeared after a couple of seconds... In short: handwash your beer glassies!..

My glass has a nice, full, creamy, puffy head…
Is that how you like it? Full, creamy and puffy?

She charged you the full five? I told her to give you the friends and family discount.

Hmm. A bit sweet. Not terrible.
