Random Rants

I also sell on Ebay and send all over the world. I'm an Australian. I find people frustrating that don't understand I will not send anything without tracking and a faster service. People argue with you, tell you that you have something against there country, and I'm ripping them off. 100% of the time I'm selling near new stuff for almost half price and folks think the shipping is too high.. Sheeit.
Some just dont get it!! Arseholes manifest themselves in many forms.. It's just the way it is.. There is no perfection amongst the realm of humans.. A major lesson. It's how you react to your given challenge is how you grow or fall.
Equanimous IH bagswans..

Thanks for the help guys…...incredibly surprising but my persistence got me a refund from her.

New neighbour moved in a few weeks ago. Looks like their internet service was commissioned today - Mine's been disconnected. Being a bit of a techy, I went down to where the carrier's wires meet with the building's access. The carrier who connected my new neighbour disconnected my service just for the shit of it, and commissioned in their service on the same pair of wires.
There's 30 pairs of wires currently free, there was no need/reason for them to play asshole and disconnect my service, other than generating profit for their buddies in the industry who I now need to get to re-connect the service through my ISP.
I called my ISP to confirm and they said it's a common union practice these days. No ethics the fuckers.

That cannot possibly be legal…?

That cannot possibly be legal…?
The MDF is off limits for all but telcos/electricians. Just so happens I've worked on MDF's before and have access to mine so popped in and figured it out.
It's almost the perfect crime.
- Internet User reports fault to ISP
- ISP determines line fault, commissions 3rd party to visit on-site
- 3rd party comes on-site, determines "cabling issue" and resolves
- 3rd party issues bill to ISP, whom pay it
- Internet user gets Internet working
The ISP is none the wiser that the cabling issue was caused through maliciousness. It's like the mechanic who intentionally damages the engine etc…

Sneaky stuff for sure, it would piss me right off tbh.

We're not all backwards dicks down here MP. There's good and bad people throughout the world. Suggest you keep it open to the world and don't let a bad apple spoil the bunch.
I know, I know and I'm really sorry that I used the nationality in the rant. In the end the total for the P+P came to £10.00 I manfully resisted the urge to ask for the additional funds to be sent before I shipped the items…
When I use Ebay I like to offer a worldwide service, on the basis that, if someone wants to give me money for my stuff where they live shouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, there are always those who do...
I sold some comic books to someone in the U.K last year who quibbled over my postage rates. She told me that she could have them delivered using the same company she uses to sell on Ebay for £4.00, but it would mean me waiting in until some unspecified time... I told her again that the P+P costs would be £5.00
Eventually she relented...
Still, must keep thinking happy thoughts.

Getting that way. Paid $150 today to have someone with the same skillset I've got but with a license behind him who in about 5 minutes confirmed the prior as to why I've got no internet. Now it's the waiting game to get re-connected, and I'm out of pocket. There's no one "at fault" for me to recoup the funds from. Really the perfect crime, and the entire time I'm stuck using my phone for internet :|

If you block a lane of traffic so that you can cut in front of people in another lane of traffic, kill yourself.

Humanity is a fucking scourge. Stupid human tricks, volume 3,584,638 issue 848,949: hunting the majestic Western black rhino to extinction because "hey, that horn looks phallic. Maybe it can help me get this shriveled pathetic noodle I call a penis to stand up straight."

iMessage is an unmitigated disaster. I don't know why Apple can't figure out services. I think they probably should have bought Twitter before the IPO announcement to shore that up.
I am turning iMessage off until Eddy Cue unfucks it. If he doesn't get it and other services fixed fast, his head should roll. Services are critical to Apple's long term prospects.
