It’s a really fun & entertaining process, along with all the paperwork. It’s been pretty smooth for me, just slow at this stage. I also read there is a big back log, so that’s even better!

Everytime there's a fluctuation in temperature I experience upper back pain. When I was a kid I was diagnosed with mild scoliosis but i'm not certain if that's the root cause. I'm starting to wonder if I have an arthritic spine. Any of you deal with back pain?

So after three phone interviews (two lasted about an hour each) and an hour long presentation style in person interview I received an email from the company letting me know they wanted to schedule another call. Surely that must be good news right? They only scheduled a call to let me know I didn't get the job because I don't have enough experience. What a waste of time, stress and effort. ::)

Damn @Broark - sorry to hear that. Sometimes I wonder why companies even go through the motions of experience of their coffin nail.
You will find the right gig, there is a lot of opportunity out there.
With that being said, I have a friend currently hiring for some jobs in Austin that you would be great for - send me an email at appfaff@gmail.com and I’ll connect you two

Thanks Adam, it's been a real drag so far. I get interviews somewhat regularly, just for them to say "you need more experience". Finding a career path somewhat fresh out of college is proving to be a real challenge.
Luckily I do have a job currently that pays decently, but I just don't see the role developing anywhere beyond what it is currently. I just replied to your PM, thanks again for the help! -
Sure thing man - anytime

So it's 5.40 am at work… 2C° weather... The place to unload the truck at is covered with ice and snow... Driver tries to back up to the gate but gets completely stuck... One hour of intensive ice chopping with snow shovels and using 50 kilograms of salt later, he managed to get it going again... I was bloody knackered...
Then I heard my boss wasn't even gonna bother coming to work...
Luckily I had two big boxes of beer delivered at work, all for me, otherwise I might've been a tad disgruntled...

Crazy guy made in on to the base (RAF Mildenhall)…
He made it through the main gate and about a mile further before he was engaged by the Military Police/Security Forces. Lots of gunfire literally RIGHT OUTSIDE of my office building, but he kept going and made it about another mile, when he rushed the flight line, and crashed in to a parked aircraft (CV-22 "Osprey").
Motives are unknown at this time. I'll likely be at work late today since we currently cannot leave our office building, because the entire area outside of it is a crime scene at this point.

Tell me about it… One of my co-workers actually unknowingly walked out in to the middle of it all...
He was trying to go to his car just as the MP's were preparing to shoot the engine block to disable the vehicle. From how everything is taped off right now and the location of the building entrance, my co-worker was likely about 20ft from the action. They yelled for him to get back in the building, and once he made it in and the door closed, shots were fired.

He's lucky they didn't shoot his block off…
I'm fairly shocked they didn't as well, but I can fully envision the area he drove through/to, and there are lots of offices/buildings over that way.
Either way, freedom probably won't be in his future any time soon after crashing in to a $90million aircraft.
