White's Boots

Nice! What did you apply the LP with? Cloth, brush?
-
Thanks!
A small brush and my hands. The warmth of my hands helped the wax to melt into the leather, Obenaufs is without harmful chemicals, so you can do it just with your hands Pretty nice stuff!
The black RO was pretty stiff, the wax smoothed it up a lot, and now its pretty comfy, the boots fit better from day to day. -
JCM, Bret & co, White's won't work with supplied buckles, other leathers fine as long as they are workable but no other buckles as yet, explained the interest from leisure wearer forum member perspective but true to form, they don't give a flying fireman! Going to get a stock anyway, they're nice.

Jamie thx for the update. Guess if we don't like it we can go to their competition (eg Wesco or Nicks)… Such a smart business decision on their end. Oh well.
BTW You settle on any new stock boots? Eg a c461 boot?
-
Hi Bret, this is true. I admire companies that stick to what they do well but being open to a few favoured mods could open things up for them. As we know though they don't feel the need or want to.
Got a few new styles including the 461 and those crazy curved heels coming in a week or so. Cheers mate.
