Iron Heart Pop Up Store in Cologne
-
No flannel shirts unfortunately. The deadline for retailers ordering flannel shirts was months ago, well before the concept of the pop-up was thought of. Kentaurus did not order any and we did not foresee the need to order extra. When we make seasonal items, like the flannels, we make what Haraki and IHUK need for direct sales plus what retailers pre-order. No spare fabric is made and thus no spare shirts are made.
Next week we will be shipping quite a few new fall/winter items, but no flannels.

Thanks Giles. I'll be back in Cologne anyway, my GF wants to see this too. They have small sized 666 and 555 plus a few very small shirts, so she'll be happy.
I bought a pair of Beatle Busters today, never thought I'd fit into these. Must've lost some weight…Gesendet von meinem HUAWEI MT7-L09 mit Tapatalk

I know that we all like the "exclusivity" of Iron Heart. BUT, I have NEVER seen anyone wearing Iron Heart unless it was at a get together, party or whatever…..I think we have a little way to go before it is in any way ubiquitous.....
Saw one guy wearing IH jeans in Prague in September. They were brand new, some slim cut. Guy had a full beard.
Maybe he's a forum member? I thought it would have been too awkward to just talk to him only because he wore IH… -
A very full beard…...? If so, he is the owner of our new shop in Prague. The Address Idea.....

Shit, that's the guy!
It's a small world… -

Totally know and share the sentiment, I'm not really all that extroverted myself. But whenever I overcame my natural inhibition and did approach someone about their jeans (either since they were a rare selvedged kind, or much more radically destroyed than what would be considered usual) the response was almost always positive and not the dreaded and feared one where I felt I could have come across as a weirdo who wants heaven knows what. People wearing such stuff usually do it with intent, purpose, and knowledge, and enjoy making it a conversation point.
For once I'm -ever so slightly- ahead of Giles, since I once did see a pair of IH jeans passing by on a stranger, outside of any trade show or party. Sadly, it wasn't one of the above described occasions…he was walking fast in the opposite direction, in company, and I don't have swiss-jeansfreaks relentlessness in going after just about anybody with good jeans on. As one can see from my making it a point here, the occasion lingers as a missed opportunity in my brain, years later!
Good luck and plenty of success to the pop-up store in Cologne, I will be much sadder than my credit card bill to miss it.....
