I’d advise a Little more mango and definitely more garam masala and whatever u like to use for curry. More of it!

Smothered some smashed potatoes and a bean burrito with New Mexico style pork green chile stew. Used Coloradan Pueblo chiles and a few New Mexican Hatch chiles. Normally I would sprinkle some cotija on it but I forgot to pick some up!

Have to admit I’m no cook worth his salt but today I have some pics which nearly qualify to be posted here. A beekeeping friend harvested about 300 litres of honey this week and decided to gift me 20 litres as a thank you gesture! So here I am putting it in smaller containers to also pass on to family and friends.
I’m out of jars with less than half of the 20 litres dealt with…
Honey is a beautiful thing, especially in LARGE quantities.

Off out for lutefisk tonight with Hot Ingrid. Apart from the craziness of eating dried cod that has been preserved in caustic soda (strictly speaking lye), and paying about £70 per kilo for it, it is also socially approved to pair the dish with hard liquor. I’m excited. Pics to follow.

I was thinking of lutefisk earlier today at work… Something triggered me thinking about the KOTH episode with Bobby eating all of it...
Anyway... Is it also socially approved to just have the hard liquor?..
This is a right thinking man. Tried lutefisk-once. The best I can say is it must be an acquired-taste.
