The Real McCoys
-
Was at the Real McCoys Shibuya store last week and I have to say that the black Deerskin vest was probably the best piece in the whole shop! Awesome mix of rugged tough and soft elegance. Didn't have a chance to try it on, but I could go back next weekend and give it a try, if it would be of help.

^Would be nice and I'm curious to hear about the length of a 42

FH if you type Rakuten Joe McCoy deerskin vest into google you will get a bunch of Japanese retailers selling it who have measurements on their sites. Here's one in case helpful: http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/three-eight/item/rmc-mj9145-040/

In another example of this Forum costing me way too much money, I ended up getting the Real McCoys deerskin vest via proxy from Japan. Will pick it up when I'm back home in NYC at the end of the month and super excited for it.

Damn you, BK…just when I thought you couldn't rock it any harder...you pull this move...deerskin...beats rock, paper, and scissors!

ha, thanks guys. i hope it works out… can never be 100% sure with proxying something that the sizing will work, but RM sizing tends to work well for me so i am optimistic. fit pics for sure when i am home and pick it up late november/early december.

Anybody tried any of the Real McCoys Lee repros? I'm particularly interested in the 101B (MP6101), which is their version of a 40-50s style Lee. Tried them on at the Shibuya store the other day, and they felt great. What do all you denim experts think of this denim? (good pics below)

real mccoy loopwheeled items are like raw denim. they come kind of stiff & crispy & to me appear unwashed. any one with some real world experience can give me a schooling?
think i found my loopwheeled obsession for this coming winter
