Thorogood

Holla
I just got those yesterday. The 2-colored ones. Size 9D, seems to be a bit bigger in lenght than TTS but I'd say not even ½ size. If you have doubts about width take E, as they really feel a bit narrow, but not too much for me, I hope.
I have a fekkin callus in my pinkytoe, so can't start using those before I've gotten rid of it.There's no comfy insole like in MocToes, and no lining. Construction seems to be fine. The boots feel stiff like hell, so will need proper breaking in.
pics later, as I'm about to rush to dojo to kick some ass…

Haha… this sentence made my day somehow. Thanks for the info! Where did you buy? I've always been a sneaker guy and generally very unsure about sizing boots. That's why I was planning on going through Baker's as they seem to provide top notch sizing advice for their White's Boots customers. I figure they'd do the same if I order some Thorogoods.

Injun, randomly found these images of some super worn in 2-tone roofers. Thought you would like.

Man, Im digging those roofers. They are only $150, thats a steal. Might have to invest…. ::)

I'm digging on these. They look like a really functional boot.

Liked my other thorogoods so much I decided to give these a try. Thorogood for Steven Allan. Not the best pair of boots ever made but super comfy and will be a great pair of everyday shitkickers. Made in the USA and the
Price is nice. No complaints here. -
pics a bit too small for me to appreciate them, but they look nice

Price is nice. No complaints here.Been wearing these for a couple days and I am really digging them. They have the standard Thorogood foam footbed cushion and removable insole which makes them very comfortable for all day wear and being pretty active in them. They certainly aren't a work of art like a pair of White's or Tricker's but they have the classic Thorogood 685 work boot look and overall seem to be fairly rugged. I think these will see a ton of wear. The real surprise here was the Vibram Gumlite sole. I'd never tried one out before and I really dig it….great cushion but with a lug design that's very utilitarian and I'm totally sold on it. I think I found what I want to resole my iron rangers with.
The speedhooks could be seen as a blessing or a curse depending on your taste....i'm pretty back and forth on it.
Overall these get a thumbs up. I recommend them to anyone who wants a good everyday boot that will be a little easier on your knees and ankles that is made in the states.
