IH-526-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Modified Type III Jacket - Superblack (Fades To Grey)
-
Thanks for the pics everyone. Mine arrives tomorrow and I'm hoping for the best.
Most of my Type 3 jackets are slim fitting, and I also knew about this model's wider sleeves going in. I'm hoping this one will fit nicely into the rotation providing an option for layering under.
-
@Jcaz6996 Yeah that looks great on you!
-
@DeeDee85 agreed. I want the updated version, whenever that is?
-
@jpvisual when this one turned up and had the “old” pattern, IH said they would rush the updated version into production as soon as possible, but I wouldn’t bank on it being here this year…
-
@jiminstitches Thanks mate it’s super soft and comfortable compared to the lefty’s , and plenty of room in this one looking forward to seeing how this one evolves.

I had this delivered to my door today. Ordered XXL, I am 184cm tall and 92kg. I'm wearing a hoodie underneath now, but also think it looks good with a t-shirt. This will primarily be a jacket for work, and then it's good to be able to wear layers underneath. What do you guys think about the sizing?
-
@Josso Looks good!
-
@Josso Looks great; seems to fit perfectly on you.
-
Passed by Self Edge to give this jacket a try. I have yet to find the right type III for me. Also living in Los Angeles, I find myself just wearing a UHF or just heavy shirt as my go to. The fabric is freakin awesome. Getting closer to peeling the band aid with this one.
This one is an XL -
Pretty happy with how this turned out. I'm kinda short and boxy myself.

@Indigo_beef lol I’m going easy on it for now
-
Fits great dude, what size are you?
-
@hugothecowboy that's @Jcaz6996 I accidentally quoted his post when I replied

6’0 tall/175 lbs and I ordered an XXL.
With all my 21oz jackets, I size up to layer with heavyweight hoodies. I’m wearing a t-shirt, 14oz American Giant zip up and then the jacket. The roomy sleeves are perfect for a thick hoodie and I still have full swing on the arms and can button it up all the way.
This is a solid jacket, and I’m stoked I grabbed it when it came online for purchase.
Side note: it’s supposed to be 70 degrees this coming week, so it won’t get too much use.
Also pictured is the 17 oz Duck 634s.
