Samples - New Products We Are Working On
-
I could’ve sworn there was talk of a new black denim to be used for a workshirt, a la a restock in the same vein as the Johnny Works Too.
It was discussed and plannned around the time there was a general lack of black denim shirting. New denim was made (the JCIII is made of it) but news came down the wire that there was some issues with making buttonholes, on the IHSH-75 (I think), and that production of denim workshirts was stopped. I think that goes for the JC workshirt too.

I would not mind a workshirt with snaps, especially copper ones!
There has only ever been one w/s with snaps (black ones), and that was the IHSH-91. Apparently Haraki-san has some strict ideas about shirt fastening protocols and cuts. The ‘91 was an anomaly. Not to say it will never happen again though.

Late this month/early next….
WHOA!! Alex told me y’all were working on a Stormrider like almost 2 years ago. I had completely forgotten about it! I live in Alaska, Stormrider is sort of a no brained for me [emoji2369]

Thanks for the background, completely forgot about that.
That's such a bummer. -
Nice to see another lightweight chambray workshirt. I love my 133.

Can we have some more details on the 888 SBG please? How’s the size of the sample compared to other variants of 888?

We havent measured the samples yet, but that doesnt really matter as we can tweak from a sample pattern. What were you thinking?

Thigh is always the main concern.

Giles & I were discussing the relative similarity of the 888 and 1955 cut and how we may be better to tweak one of them to give a slightly more marked difference..

Little bit less rear rise in the 888 and bigger thigh wouldn’t hurt
