WESCO
-
…well, I was just contacted by Karen at Wesco yesterday Sept 8th and it looks like we're waiting another 4-6 weeks. Just in time for Halloween! :o ???
-
Got the same email. I placed my order on February 22. Looks like Wesco has a solid 7-8 month lead time at the moment. Glad I have a few other pairs to wear in the meantime.

There’s so many cool boots to choose from here it’s almost impossible!
Does anyone see their boots on the rack to the right??
I went with the Natty CXL

Very excited for the CXL. Chris didn’t have my size in stock so he called up standard and strange and had them send me an invoice right then while he was on the phone.. he’s the best! I haven’t read all the previous comments in this thread but he has been getting all kinds of flack from everyone about their lead times right now and I feel bad for him because he’s such a great dude! We talked for at least an hour about my dad while I was there and his experiences with loosing loved ones and I just felt so good leaving his shop..
On a different note… I took this picture while I was there and sent it to my cousin because he has the same pair, and he promptly sent me the bottom picture. I think they’re about 3 years old and still going strong!

Chris is awesome. The long lead times aren't ideal but their products are worth the wait. I'm actually happy that they're so busy during this crazy time because it means they'll be around in the future when I want to buy more custom boots.
I'm really looking forward to my pair that will hopefully be done in the next 1-2 months.

These are in regular rotation now and I’m looking forward to seeing what their first north Norwegian winter will do to them.

I’ve decided to try my hand at the Stichdown patina thunderdome.
I just joined the stitch down group, will be officially signing up shortly.
I needed another pair of wesco’s like a hole in the head….
I had decided that I wasn’t doing it, but then I got a notification of my size in stock at S and S. That was the nudge I needed…. After that it was down hill, and this contest sounds like such a good time. Lots of cool awards too…. So I’m in
Anyway here’s my pair I’ll be entering with.

I was just going to ask if there is anyone here doing that. I just grabbed a pair of CXL mister Lous and was going to join too… maybe we should start a thread on the forum for those of us here who are in it…

@kkibbey23 they scream patina. Keep us posted on their evolution, believe they turn out great.
@Brock which CXL you got, the natural ones? -
Chris is currently making me the most outrageously ridiculous (but, I hope lovely) pair of Mister Lous…..
Smoke on the water is the only clue you're getting....
Omg sounds amazing… But I’m still waiting for my CXL… I hate UPS Spanish branch… And I hate the Brexit!

@Brock I think it would be cool to make another post for that! I wonder if anyone else from here is doing it?
I can’t wait to see what you do to that natty cxl I picked up a pair of those this spring with the plans of saving them, but that didn’t work out. I had all but written the contest off….. then these natural Essex popped up in my size at SS.
G I can’t wait to see what’s in the works. Going to be epic I’m sure
