The wear looks not DISSIMILAR to the navy CXL you guys specced on the forum service boots with Viberg a decade ago… my pair has nearly White creases with wear in between oils, and goes back to saturated state when it drinks a bit of boot or mink oil.
You will love them. and brass was the right choice with that shade!

And just received an email, another 40 weeks for the Quick Striker I hope they are worth but at the same time have no doubt…
I looked them up and they are gorgeous.
They are indeed. I love the olive waxed flesh and longer straps. They will look great a year into wearing them.
Oh and thanks for the IKEA shoe storage tip. I checked them yesterday and they are great for our purpose especially since our walk in closet consists of doorless PAX. In the bigger ones I can fit 8 pairs (front and back). -
Great boots!
What leather is it? That will have a lot to say about the break in. Breaking them in will be like breaking in XHS. The leather will stretch, soften and mould, as will the soles. Single mids don’t take to long either.
If they pinch at the start then take out the insole, keep it safe and replace later. If they stretch too much you can add extra insoles.
These are designed to minimise heel slip, but if you do get it, then remember it’s a feature, not a flaw.

@neph93 I was so excited about them I forgot to post the leather type. It's the steerhide. They don't pinch but feel nice and snug.
Sounds perfect. I’ve never had the pleasure of Wesco’s steerhide. I’d guess it is lighter than the Oil tanned, possibly heavier than the domain leathers. Either way, snug is how you want them at the start.
