@neph93 I was so excited about them I forgot to post the leather type. It's the steerhide. They don't pinch but feel nice and snug.
Sounds perfect. I’ve never had the pleasure of Wesco’s steerhide. I’d guess it is lighter than the Oil tanned, possibly heavier than the domain leathers. Either way, snug is how you want them at the start.

That’s a fine looking boot.
As mentioned before, they take a bit to break in and might feel wobbly at first when walking but they will mould to your feet. Snug is good, too short wouldn’t be good.Wobbly and snug is a strange surprise but well described and exactly how it feels clonking around old hardwood floors in my house.

Makes no difference if I have 9 or 10 pairs of Engineers
That is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever read.
Haha. I just placed the order for the quick Striker SS Wesco collab. I love that olive, but purple (insert heart smiley here)
I feel the same way. I have the Quick Striker boot. Told myself my next pair of engineers would probably be Clinch. But that purple definitely got me feeling some sort of way!

If I would fit in a clinch I might already have one. I tried hard to make them fit but no chance if I wouldn’t go custom. I would love to get a pair from Brian the bootmaker.
For now I am waiting for my custom Boss rough out and the Quick Striker. The rough out hopefully arrives soon, the quick striker sometime around Christmas is my best guess… -
@68degreesorless nice lookin' pair dude.
Also that purple leather is amazing…can't help but think of Baltimore.

@Dmart no its just regular black roughout.

…@68degreesorless I had my first Wesco's custom ordered and I waited 8 months and to be honest they fit so well that there's virtually no break in...nothing hurts, which I'm not used to in a new boot. I've always had to suffer somewhat to end up having the perfect pair of boots in the long haul. ::)
...so I'm going to give a stock boot a shot and those brown 'Mr. Lou's' you and @Oaktavia are sportin' really warms up the wallet for me!
…@Alex are the brown coming along with the black 'Mr. Lou's' in the next restock?

Roughout Romeos. Double Edged. Vibram 430. Still got a few in the pipeline. Wesco's lead-times are nuts! Understandable though.
