here they are fellas, can tell the double midsole will take awhile to break in and gives just a touch of heel slip but they are an excellent fit all the way around and feel great. Very comfortable out of the box and VERY snug (across the instep, exactly the way i like it) on the forefoot.
one of the best purchases I have made in a while.
happy to read that you're liking your new engineers mate, congrats on that…not happy to read your summary though. kicks these out of the window for me :-
how "hard" is it to get'em on/slip into them? -
?Not hard at all they are very easy to slip into. The boot is built very well and there are zero issues with getting it on and off however the instep is snug and holds the foot as it should… Sorry if I confused you in someway
-
Actually went with a 12d… And they are right in point

Actually of the 2 pairs I have neither fits correctly so telling would probably just confuse more thn anything

Might be an odd question but because I'm do thin and tall my leg opening if even straight leg jeans tend to be a bit tight to fit over the shaft of my boots does anyone have an ways to stretch the jean from calf down to open them up a bit and allow them to relax a bit around this area. I'd just get a pair of 461 but they aren't long enough
-
I've seen a technique for stretching jean pockets that may be applicable in some similar form.
Basically, jamming a shitload of pencils into the pocket. Because of the tapered tip of pencils, you can keep shoving more and more pencils into the center of the bundle until you place considerable tension on the pocket. It seems you could do something similar to perhaps flare the bottoms of a jean, though using pencils seems unrealistic… perhaps stuffing something bigger in there would get it done.

Actually I managed to just spray em with a bit of water, give it a bit of a tug and it worked good so they sit fine now thanks tho mang
