Any idea as to when the red and green marls are expected
IWHWIH
Or in other words, I have no idea…..

I'm starting to feel the itch to get one of these. A black one might push me over the edge, but that gray is pretty tempting. Time to measure a couple of my favorite tee's.
-
I believe these tees are essential IH kit.
This new fabric combined with the sublime form fitting neckline make this a glorious year-round tee and a no-brainer for any seasoned forum member
**Using screenprint instead of the tag inside the neck, and no tag at the bottom (I removed the tag with a seam ripper upon purchase and then wash to close-up the stitch holes) would make this a perfect garment for me.
-
Well @adam313 you're certainly not making it any easier for me to pass on this shirt How are the sleeves? That's been the main thing that's held me back from buying an IH tee before, I prefer more fitted sleeves and the one IH tee that I tried about four years ago had crazy huge sleeves.

I can confirm that the sleeves are much more fitted.

That's good news. I imagine that the grey one would look pretty stellar under my Johnny Cash…

No doubt about it. Although it looks pretty stellar with just about everything [emoji1]

White XL is tantalisingly close to perfect for me, just a bugger it's 2-3 inches too short. Chest could do with an extra inch too, might be a bit too snug. V close. I totally see why in anything less than XL you wouldn't taper these even a touch through the body, especially being loop wheeled too… but in XL and XXL I think that'd work a treat (and as they're cut and sewn together at the side seem, not a technical problem either). In the biggest sizes more length does seem necessary... at 185cm I'm hardly a giant but even the larger XXL is a full two inches off the length that suits me best. Only half an inch in length separates the three biggest sizes currently- hopefully this changes with the next batch. Fingers crossed!

[/quote]I'm in total agreement and I've said this from the beginning. These are great T's but unfortunately much too short for me and I'm hardly a giant myself at 6'. I also hope upcoming T's come with extra length.
-
Really? I'm 186cm and I love these because of their length.
-
Inbetween personal tastes regarding fit, and differing body shapes and sizes there's always going to be issues for some but a satifactory fit for others. I'm 6' and have these in both L and XL and love the fit, especially the length. On the other hand, very few UHF's fit me well in the arm and body length and jeans are an even bigger issue. You win some, you loose some I guess.
-
^^ I agree. For me work shirts are just not meant to be..
-
This is the perennial "I think the T shirt should be longer, fatter, slimmer, looser…......." discussion. They are what they are and we are not a large enough company to produce a load of different cuts. This became very irritatingly quoted back to me by an ex member time and time again as "We are not a T-shirt" company - irritating but true.....
-
Totally agree with all of the comments above. Fit is such a personal preference and I fully acknowledge I like my T shirts on the longer side than most do. It's just an odd pet peeve of mine, having a T shirt that is too short. Like neph said you win some and you lose some, and fortunately for me nearly everything else IH fits me great especially the westerns and 634 cut. Sometimes I just state my selfish opinion on this because that damn marled grey fabric on these 1610's is so lovely it's a shame it doesn't fit me to my liking.

I have this shirt in L and XL and find that they are ok in length. I'm 6'3" too… I wonder if I have a short torso, or if I lucked out and got a few of the longer ones.

To taper a loopwheel you need to add side seams.
I did suggest to do this only with XL and XXL, as these have side seams regardless I wouldn't dare suggest adding seams where they don't belong, I own some loopwheeled t's and the seamless nature is part of the attraction.
