Echoing the above. I'm halfway through episode 3. The show is brutal and fantastically done.

Watching Episodes 3+4 tonight.

I’m going largely against the grain with that. I enjoyed it. Yes the middle section where that fix everything is rushed and dumb but the first section leading to THE DEATH was brilliant, and seeing as I’m a big old softie, I found the very end quite moving. I don’t really understand a lot of the criticism of how it got wrapped up. What were people expecting?

For those watching Chernobyl I highly recommend the podcast. It makes me want to re-watch the episodes as the podcast gives additional information into the disaster and the personal stories portrayed. Long story short, based on the research the creators of the show did the drama of the HBO series is actually under-emphasized compared to what actually happened.
And for readers - the book 'Voices from Chernobyl' has a number of first hand accounts of the happening.

Thanks for those tips. I’ll endeavour to get to grips with both.

Re-watching SPACED… I actually bought the DVD set for this (2nd hand) well over 10 years ago... And I'm glad I did... So much fun... And so many familiar faces!..

Chernobyl is all @Chesson has been talking about in the office. It's def on my list.
I am absolutely hooked on The Act at the moment, had to force myself to turn it off after 5 episodes last night.
I remember reading about it on forums when it all happened, totally bizarre and messed up.
