I'll have mine tomorrow and will try to get a fit pick and my impressions of the fit compared to IH shirts posted asap.

I'll let the photos do the talking…

Yeah, they killed it! Fun stuff on so many levels.
The shirt is fitted, but I dig the cut and think if you're used to IH's modern fit you'll be fine.
I wear a Large in IH's UHFs and a medium in many of their older shirts (13, 33, 85, etc) and went with a Large here. 5'11" 165lbs for reference.
The shoulder triangle seams, the hidden button on the sleeve placket, the fabric's reversal on the inside, and all the nuances I'm sure to yet discover…fun stuff indeed!

Received mine yesterday as well. On Kiya's advice I sized up to a medium (I typically take a small in Iron Heart, Mister Freedom, etc.). For reference I'm just under 6'1" and weigh 155 lbs. I am very pleased with the fit. There is a subtle taper in the shirt and feels a bit more form fitting in the back when sitting than a UHF. Sleeve length is nearly the exact same as my IHSH-155 (small) and I have very close to the same amount of room in the chest. Length is a bit longer (maybe an inch max).
The shoulder seams are a very cool detail. It's essentially a raglan sleeve with a seam/dart that creates a structured shoulder similar to what you'd find on a suit jacket. It creates a very cool tailored effect to the shirt.
On top of that the fabric is insane. Very detailed and complicated weave that creates a nice depth to the shirt.
Pics to come….

Looking good. More pics please!

@Dishelveled wow, that's a real beauty of a shirt. Envy control mode here!

I like the Country Shearling Jacket.
I don't like the price.

That shirt is stellar!

+1 - I love the pattern, love the shaping and love the shoulders.
Im confused why they don't make very large sizes though… through my little understanding of the company, it seems like it's some American Dudes making clothes in Japan... so I figured it would be more western sizing... or at least a Chest size over 44" inches on their shirts...

I like that pattern a lot @Dishelveled. Might be one of 2017's purchases.

One crazy American and one just as crazy (potentially crazier) Japanese dude… both living in Tokyo.
Ian comes up with the ideas and Kotaro makes them a reality.

If the had their DMT shirts available in a similar Iron Heart XXXL size, I would have picked them up immediately.

@Sam How the varsity jacket breaking in? I assume the body will fade with wear? If so, have you noticed any fading?
-
Loving it! The universe is trying to ruin it however… first day i wore it i nearly took a direct hit from a bird!
I honestly haven't noticed much fading on the body yet although i'm sure there has been some. It's definitely transferred onto the leather though. I'll get some new photos sorted out this week.
Have you got you eye on one?
Sam
