I really don't think I'm going to be able to resist this one in the workshirt.

This is exciting

That XL chest measurement is actually perfect for me. We'll see what the WS measures but this might be a difficult decision all of a sudden. Either way…

Great color. I think this will look very good with some nice worn in & faded denim.

Great looking shirt! Ordered 1 too!

Hmmm, compared to the black ombre, the length of the Medium is significantly shorter but all the other measurements are bigger. I was hoping the two shirts would have been more similar.

Just out of curiosity: why is the top button on the UHF Westerns different from the others? Is this some genius solution to a problem I am not aware of?
If you any bit of facial hair when the top button is a snap it tends to snag and it sucks when it does happen.
So having the top button as a normal button fixes that issue.
At least that's my understanding. -
@HHPI - I also think it has something to do with the fact that the back of the permex snaps might not the long enough to fasten to the snap side since it would have to go through 3 layers of UHF at the collar. That's what I always figured at least.

This makes more sense to me. I asked Giles once and he mentioned the beard thing, but I wasn't sure if he was joking. The OCD in me doesn't like not having a snap at the top, but I've learned to live with it.

This would explain why some Western Shirts indeed have snaps all the way, e.g. the 159, 33, 134,…
On the other hand, even the 139 with its 6oz Summerflannel has a button at collar. So when thinking about it, it seems to me like it's neither the beard nor the thickness of the fabric. Otherwise it would be consistent. Maybe just a lovable, nerdy IH-Flannel thing.
