Time For a New Jeans Cut….
-
@Giles - Awesome! Even though the sample pair is larger than you normally wear, they still look really good. Have they been washed, or is there still some starch in them? I can see that if you wore them for some time to break them in, they might look a tad too big in that size.
In the right denim, this could be the last pair of jeans I'd ever buy…
-
Don't worry, I have ample girth to make them work (awaiting comment from @Seul )
Yes, there's nothing we'd like better than for Seul to apprise us of your girth.
I let one comment slip and this is what I get…

2 hours until I can test drive these bad boys

I don't really want to do a full review until after a couple of days wear, as I want the denim to settle a bit and have a bit of time to live with them. A couple of quick points…
- The measurements are perfect and the cut is exactly what we wanted.
- I've been wearing the 21oz Pronto cut, 666's and 777's in rotation. This cut is very different from all three of those, more relaxed in the top block, higher rise and very comfortable through the leg with a great silhouette which I think will appeal to most people.
I'll report back in greater detail shortly but am open to questions.
-
Yeah I like the look of them! Measurements looking good. If only they weren't surrounded with ginger…
-
Yeah looking good Mega! How's the rise?
-
Feels similar to the MBB's, perhaps a touch lower.
-
That is great news
-
Cheers gents. The cut is designed to be flattering and comfortable for most body types, they're fitted where they need to be, and forgiving where they need to be.
I don't have lifters legs, but my legs aren't exactly twigs either so hopefully that give you some idea of how they fit.
-
Ha ha, give me a chance to put some wear on them first
-
Oh man…these are looking good.
-
The jeans fit you well @Megatron1505 curious to see them on someone with a shorter inseam.
-
Depending on whether Giles needs the sample back for reference or tweaks I would be happy to send them on the road, after I've got to know them a little longer that is
