Travel day in the lefty

@Kasi I’d throw down the $ for an XHS type 3. Would have to have handwarmers tho.

Ahhhh. Well I’m gonna say a prayer for technical innovation . Maybe one day.

Love the button @popvulture, that first album was magical
-
@october-rust hell yes! It’s an all time fave for me, excellent from start to finish. Plus Justine was my dream girl when I was a kid, haha.
-
@popvulture how the hell did you get that pin through the denim? I bought this cool ass Stranglers pin for mine and can’t get it to weave in and out. Had to find a straight, push in pin.
-
@Mizmazzle it’s kind of an ordeal, tbh! I usually bend the pin part outward a little bit so it’s like 30-45 degrees, poke it through, then flip the pocket over so I can see where it’s come through. Then I just guide it like 5mm over and poke back through. It takes some finagling.

Freaking insane!! What a badass jacket and a work of art!! Well done, James.
I’m curious. I know how rigid this denim is. But I’m kinda wondering from a few of the guys who have given it hell for a year or two or even 10 like Twin.
Is there another denim to compare how soft it gets after all that time and wear? Mine is getting softer. Still stiff-ish…but quite a bit softer.
How does this denim compare after a good solid beat down?
- Like a lightly worn XHS?
- Medium broke in 21oz indigo?
- Medium to well worn some other type of denim?
-
Mine can still stand after a soak.
That don’t matter. What you got realise is the cotton is different than the 21oz and 25oz
Get softer with wear but still tuff. You got to experience the ride.
Mine is 13 months now.

Hi @Kasi, was reading your soak / washing suggestions from a few months back. When would you just soak and not wash? If you hand wash in the tub with detergent, is that different from soaking? Just trying to see when a soak vs. wash is appropriate and what the difference is (if not using the washing machine but hand washing).
