IH-526L - 19oz Left-Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Type III - Indigo
-
I'll try to get a few posted in the next couple days
-
Got mine today. I was a little worried when I read the new denim was softer because I really liked the first type. All worries put to rest today. This stuff seems just as tough and rigid to me. Anyone on the fence about it should go for it. It rules.
Agreed, this fabric is great. I don't own the first run of this denim nor do I own this jacket but I do have a pair of jeans with this 19oz V2 fabric and it's lovely.

Just ordered mine now. I'm really excited as its my first denim jacket and my first IH product. Can't wait to get to fading the beast

-
Thanks @dion that's what I was thinking too.
-
Thats a really good fit man. That what I went for too since I tend to layer my jackets. Hope mine fits just as good as yours
-
Finally got my left trucker so here are some fit pics. I took them with a sweatshirt since I plan on layering with it. The shoulders feel pretty much perfect, the sleeves are actually slightly long which is a first but with with combs and future shrink I think they'll be great. The chest feels a little large so idk if I should just wear it and let the denim settle or soak it now to get the rest of the shrink out. What do you guys think? And f*** those buttons man. Ps sorry for the dirty bathroom it's the woman's fault
-
these jackets look great guys, thanks for the fit pics. This is such a cool fabric, I'm wearing my 666's in this fabric right now.
@IndigoNoob I think your fit looks good for layering. The sleeves are a tad long but that has never bothered me personally.
-
@manufc10 yeah thats how I kinda felt about them. And I was thinking it wouldnt be that bad once the combs set in
-
And shoutout to @Giles for creating such an amazing jacket. This thing is a beast and it is finally so nice to have a jacket long enough for me
-
I would say definitely soak that. Looks like you could benefit from some shrink
-
Or do a jacket in the XHS because why not
-
because why not
Because it would be impossible to produce these in any (if any at all) meaningful quantities. Constructing the jeans are on the edge of what is possible, a Type III is significantly more complex from a constructional point of view….
