neph93 is your pair 633 or 634??
-
Mine have not stretched nearly that much either. That is a crazy amount of stretch.
-
I thought so too, but they were tight when I got them, and they are quite baggy now.

634… I have the og measurements for this pair in an email from IHUK so I know the starting point. I'll do it before I turn in.
The received wisdom regarding waist stretch is that you get what you need. That is to say if they're tight to begin with you'll get more until it's comfortable. Mine fit just right to start with and I've lost a few kg since then. We'll see...

Agreed. I try to make this point to people when they are asking "how much stretch will I get?". It depends on the fit when they are out of the bag. If you have a 34" waist and you start with a pair that has a measured 32.5" waist you will get more stretch than a pair that starts at 34" or 33.5".

Thank you @Appfaff !

Sure thing @Jordonf9
@manufc10 and @neph93 are 100% correct on this. Mine were quite snug to begin with. Although a 13.75 thigh is not "tight" on me (my 666 are 13" and are tight lol) the 633 have been my "moving around alot" jeans, so I'm not surprised. I also have worn the jeans with a shirt tucked in quite a bit, so that would add to the waist stretch. What started off as a tight buttoning at first, I can put them on and take them off without unbuttoning now. The stretch in the back rise was what surprised me the most of anything.

I believe his pair is the 633 cut.
-
Mine are 633, @neph93 has the 634.
I didn’t think it was worth creating a whole new thread for the 633s-18 since the only think that’s different is the bottom hem…

@flavour79 my IH-634S-18 now come in at 35.5" at the waist. Starting waist was 34.9".

@neph93 how long have you had your pair??
-
@neph93 how long have you had your pair??
Had them a while but they are out of rotation as I've been in a leg brace since December. They've had about 30 days of normal to light wear on them. Like I said though, they fit fine when I got them, just a little tight, and I've lost a bit of weight since then, so they've had no reason to stretch much, other than my movement putting pressure on them. I also always wear a belt with jeans unless they are too tight. Rumour has it that this can retard stretch too.

Some standard Red Wing Engineers in the Rough & Tuff Leather. Nothing crazy, but I feel I get my money’s worth in them [emoji869]

Get to see how perfect this denim will be for summer tomorrow. Got me a 633 of this beautiful fabric.
