@den1mhead I am going too wear these all the way to the end of the contest.
-
I want those 32oz in black so bad. everyone out…
-
@twin I am wondering how you like those. I'll admit the denim is quite beautifully colored. Would you call them good quality? And how do they compare to 25oz xhs Iron Heart? Is the hand as soft? And is the thickness kind of overstated or are they really heavy?
-
@Filthy25ozJunkie I like them a lot. These jeans are a little more soft once broken in. Also they are thicker then the 25oz IH. jeans. Getting some awesome fades on these jeans. Been wearing them almost all the time.
BTW Naked & Famous has some on sale once again. -
Thanks. They keep saying, "this is the last time these will be made" xD
-
@Filthy25ozJunkie Go and order your self a pair. And see what you think about the 32oz jeans.
-
Thanks. I'm broke right now. But maybe some day.

I'm debating if I should try out N&F elephants or Iron heart 25oz or 21oz…I'm moving up from UB 21oz. Leaning towards IH.

Your inclination is a superior choice. I have the Elephant 2s and they're not as nice as my IH denim.

Thanks, I would upvote you but I can't figure out how.

Has anyone picked up the new elephant 6? They look alright!

The denim looks amazing, but the cuts suck. The Easy Guy has a 32" inseam across the board, which is stupid. Then it's seriously vanity sized- to get my usual 32-33" waist, I'd need to drop down to a size 30 or 31. And that means the hem is somewhere around 6'5", barely big enough for me to get my feet through. The Weird Guy is only slightly better. At least the inseam isn't capri length.
-
Haha! I agree that is fecked! Why can't they make a normal guy cut?

In my experience N&F heavyweight denims are some of the most unforgiving and brutal break ins. I suppose it shouldn't be surprising as a denim of that weight selling for around $200 is not going to be made of the most supple of material. A heavyweight broken twill definitely had me intrigued but I can confidently say the 6's would be unpleasant for a solid 30 days + worth of wear.
The cuts on the 6's are also really odd. My size would be an 11.75" thigh and a 6" leg opening for the easy guy fit. And also agreed that a 32" inseam across the board doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
