IHPS-01 - Ultra Heavy Short-Sleeved Polo Shirt
-
I can get no more from Japan this season, they are selling too well in Japan for them to release any more.
The fabric takes 3 months to produce, by which time the Japanese season will be over so we will remake, but not until next year.
Sorry people.
Next year, I'll go much longer on these…
Bummer! I've saved this thread to my favorites. Maybe there will be a few returns.

The Polo has landed.
In black without the bell logo. Just plain black.
The fabric is heavy for a polo shirt, not to heavy though.
Quality and finish are really on a different level to almost any other polo I've had.
Certainly nothing like some other polos that stretch and loose the shape very quickly and are relegated to the car cleaning outfit after a few months of wear.
I am sure it will last for years and age very well indeed. It will just get better the more its worn.
Just a great item to have. -
I would like to see the next run have an even length in the front and back. I wear polos often for work, and when I get done for the day, I just like to untuck. The problem is that shirts like this are meant to be tucked and therefore the difference in tail length. The even all around Polos can be tucked or untucked and look completely fine but anyone who truly knows polos, knows this shirt is to be remained tucked, and that sucks.
I know this isn't law, but this is a general rule of thumb like leaving the last button undone on a suit jacket. If you want to, you can fasten it, but everyone who knows how to wear a suit will either correct you or look in disappointment in your direction. When I untuck a shirt with a tail, I know what I'm doing is wrong and looks silly and I try to avoid as often as possible and have stopped buying Polo's with tails as a result.
"Shirts that are made with a flat bottom hem are meant to be worn untucked. But if the shirt has visible “tails” — that is to say, the hem varies in length, rather than being even all the way around — it should always be tucked in."

waiting on images of these out in the wild.
too thick to tuck
I know it's all personal pref, but I actually like the bell logo

I love Polo with a longer back and never tuck, and I think that these are too thick to be tucked anyway…
Agreed. I think these measurements came out great on these and I love the longer length.

Looking good @Dstauffer ! So-I'm late to the party. Glad to see them sell though

You can definitely look forward to them. If they're too long try to hot wash them first before consulting a tailor.
Do you have experience with them? I know the page says once washed/no shrinkage. They aren't too long, in fact the black fits me perfectly. There is some variation in sizing though as the grey is a good 2 cm wider in the body. So if there was shrinkage to be had I could stand to loose a bit off the bottom for some width shrinkage.
Anyways, sizing issues aside, they are really nice. So cleanly designed and made (I'm thinking of the buttons, collar and ribbed arm especially) and the fabric is really luxurious. Great work IH.

Wore my black in anger for the first time yesterday. I will certainly be wearing mine untucked most of the time, menswear standards be damned. But, they do tuck very nicely as well, if needs be. I'm also going to get my grey taken in a bit. Looks like an easy fix for my seamstress. Really nice alternative to have in the wardrobe.
