IH-526PJ - 21oz Selvedge Denim Modified Type III Jacket - Indigo

@konadog What size is that? I own a large (same as my IH shirts) and, if anything, it's on the snug side. Such a great choice of jacket. It should last a lifetime.
-
it's a XL. I'm 6'2", 200 lbs.

Lovely stuff @DrStoltze Looks like an IH tux in the second pic too. Which jeans?
Also, welcome to the forum!

Hi guys! First time poster here. Got this a few weeks ago from Brund in Copenhagen. Awesome jacket! Great for outdoor strolls with our newborn son (with plenty social distancing of course). Cheers!
Warm congratulations on your newborn! You will learn how to sleep in Iron Heart because you'll have to grab some of that whenever you can. Looking good. Keep that stroller rollin', brother.

@DrStoltze - New IH Jacket and a new baby boy . . . congratulation and welcome

Hey, out of curiosity, does anyone know the difference between the 526J and 526PJ?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The 526J was the OG IH type III cut. Much more traditional with a shorter body and no side pockets. The 526pj has a longer body and integrated hand warms pockets.

Welcome! And great choice on that jacket. It's such a classic, I can't see it ever going out of style.
As a parent, this is a terrifying time to have a baby! How are you guys holding up? We're trying to hold off visiting the doctor for anything and everything but with newborns you have a decent amount of check-ups.

I bought this last year but have barely worn it. It's definitely a great jacket.

Just received from Rivet and Hide. First ever denim jacket. Really happy with the fit. I was worried it would be too long as there are no unmodified versions left and I wanted one shorter in the body and sleeves. Sits a bit awkwardly but I’m sure will break in nicely. Fantastic piece of kit.
Bonus semi ironic double denim outfit (not actually as bad as I thought it would be…)
-
@RitchieCDog that is a boss fit. Kick the crap out of it for a couple of weeks and it will drape perfectly.
I feel u vis a vis double denim. When it works it the tits, and it’s always tempting. That combo works for me. Different types of denim. If you have any faded jeans then try the jacket with them.

Nothing wrong with double denim… just got to have the balls to carry it off. Others will just be jealous.
Out of interest, RitchieCDog, what size is that?
I own a size 40 (tag size 'Large').
-
I’ve a pair of fairly beat to shit UHR 888s which will work. Just got these jeans in same delivery as the jacket so was obvs excited.
It’s a size 40 (L) as well. 80kg 5’9”

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it apart from when it looks shit. Therein lies the problem, when it works it is beautiful to behold, when it doesn't it's a shitshow. Imho of course…
