Personally, I only like Made in England NBs.
??? IMO if you were to rank the quality of recent new balance trainers down to where they were made it would go something like:
(best)
1.Japan
2.America
3.China
4.UK
(worst)
I had two pairs of the 576 from Flimby (which in all fairness I won in a competition of about 15 pairs so maybe it was too much hassle to throw them away at "QC" and make another pair) that had a missing eyelet in a pair, glue all over the suede on all of them and when you lined them up next to eachother (one was UK10 the other UK11) you could see they used the same cutting tool for the toebox making one pair look wierd. After this incident I've kept an eye on NBUK and I have to say their quality control is fuckin' up, even the pairs on display in the shops look bad. Another thing that makes the other countries better is the shape of theirs compared to our's
I remember seeing a good thread about shape on another forum that used pictures to show how its changed , i'll try to find it.Its a shame as they used to be so good to eg:
This post wasn't intended to be a personal assault on you for liking NBUK I was just trying to show how bad they've gotten recently.

Dude, please show me a NB tag that says Made in Japan. I'm pretty sure most Japanese only releases are made in China, Vietnam or the Phillipines. Made in England NBs are also pretty close to handmade. There are a lot of B grades that make it out of the plant, but they are clearly marked because the tag on the inside is totally different. Sounds like you got some free B grades. Please never rank China made above English made, it's just wrong.

New Balance 576 Pub Pack
(missing the 576TRO-Royal Oak)
Red Lions
Kings Head
The pack is based on the New Balance Flimby Plant's (in UK, know this!!) favorite pubs. The liner is based off their barstool apolstery and the insole is based off their floors. Oiled leather uppers with buttery nubuck accents. The TRO is orange with a sea green terry cloth liner.

New Balance 576 Lake District Pack
Complete
Scafell Pike (my favorite shoe period)
St Bees
Derwent Water
Based off the Lake District National Park near the Flimby Plant. All have moleskin liners and a map of the areas on the insole. Scafell Pike is made of a rugged finished leather and cotton duck. St Bees is made of a smooth leather that is sanded, so it looks like weathered rocks in the water, it also has a tightly woven canvas. Derwent Water is made of a waxy finished leather and waxed sail cloth (I added navy waxed laced, they came with white). My fav pack from the Flimby Plant. The English own, when it comes to running shoes.

New Balance 576 30yrs of Manufacture in the UK

-NB let 3 senior factory members design a 576. There are 2 others-Roy Bell (Grey Suede with a sick Cord liner) and Andy Mandle (Charcoal Nubuck and Flannel Tartan Liner)
-Per the usual, all made in the United Kingdom. Know it!!!

"Yo bro I had to bring two pairs for one night cause it was raining and one has different color laces…"

New Balance M577 Farmers Market Pack-Olive Colorway
-Waxed Suede Upper
-Cotton Duck Toebox and Ankle Collar
-Nubuck (Brown) Accents
-Herringbone Twill Ankle Liner and back of tongue
-Sherpa Lined Insole
These are ridiculous. I need the navy colorway, same materials, but instead of cotton duck, it's waxed sail cloth. And instead of the HBT ankle liner, it's flannel tartan. Don't sleep. And, as always, Made in the United Kingdom, know it. -
Very nice
