I had to hold off on grabbing one of these. I was hoping one would still be available for me, right about this date. Thankfully, there was. XXL en route.
Cool you will dig and post pics

I went with a large … I’m usually around a 22 inch ptp in shirts but this fits fine with T and layering
@theorocks Mind if I ask your height / weight? I feel like I'm stuck between L/XL on this one.

Thanks brother, I feel more confident I might be good in that XL!

For those that have bought this great looking jacket, have most bought their usual size, or sized up/down? I'm usually a XXL in type IIIs, but the shoulder and sleeve measurements are a tad bigger on this…be grateful of any help. I'm thinking of picking one up for my bday in a couple of weeks.
-
Hey @Stuart.T I went with my usual size and its fine. The p2p measurement online came up small but the gusset or whatever it's called seems to give it more room than the sizing would indicate. Just looked at description, the pleating gives it more room.
-
@steelworker thanks buddy. It is usually a balancing act for me between shoulder width and sleeve length, and because of the pirating, I reckon that might make the shoulder/sleeve length 'feel' bigger than they are. On your advice I might stick with my usual xxl though.
-
Definitely seems to be a TTS fit, unless you're only ever planning on wearing it over a t-shirt.
-
@Graham thank you for going through all the measurements with me and finding this perfect fit…I can't wait to wear it...fit pic photos taken in 28 degree c heat...not ideal!
-
Stuart.T that jacket is perfect for you. You and Graham have nailed it.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I'm very happy with it. It fits that sweet spot…I'm wearing it with just a tee in the pics, but I could also fit a UHF under comfortably too. I adjusted the cuff buttons since the pics were taken so they sit better now too.
@Chain$titch I went with a XXL. @Graham found me a XXL with shorter arms and slightly larger chest. The boy done good I'd say. I think it could tolerate a hot soak and might lose a little off the sleeves, but the 17oz duck doesn't tend to shrink like 21oz denim. I could blast it at 90 degrees, but the outcome would be too unpredictable

@Chain$titch:
holding out for the Storm Rider.
Say more… ??? (This is a thing?)
