OK
I want to get all shrinkage out to be able to hem 'em,
and 'cause I'm stubborn it's gonna be 40, and I'll have to see if I manage to get them out before the washing machine boogie…(and ofcourse inside out)
To my knowledge these have been soaked once. and they are just jawns, right
Alex, I don't own a bathtub. I have Sauna.
-
follow the advice of the one's that actually own the jawns & have been wearing them . . . but yeah they are just jawns. . . that you take pictures of & ask advice on washing & such, but they are just jawns, hahahahahahahaha
-
the fit on those are perfect just as they are
-
mine did shrink 1,6" in the lenght after one hour warm soak (30°C) …
didn't washed them yet ... -
Machine wash on 40 inside out and hang to dry, those look great on you IJ!
-
jaco you scrubbed your annies with one of these
you bad, bad boy
-
Sauna…...of course, you are Finnish. A buddy of mine is of the same heritage/ethnicity and he told me all Finns have a sauna somewhere in the house. It is part of their lifestyle ::)
BTW, the jeans look great on you already. You might want to put a block in the waist to prevent it from shrinking too much. But then again, they will stretch back out in no time. Fit pics when done of course. -
@monday:
jaco you scrubbed your annies with one of these
you bad, bad boy
yep
I got them real dirty
and they didn't come clean with a soak and machine wash
so I figured wtf and took the gong to em
with some bronners eucalyptus
did the trick
now wearing my Warehouse for the real dirty stuff -
Just a quick sizing question on the SRs.
Went into Self Edge and tried on the regular 634S. I found a size 31 fits me absolutely perfect, however when I tried on a 32 for reference, it seemed the jean changed tremendously – dramatically looser all around. Seeing as the SRs are considered to be baggier but are unsanforized, how would you guys recommend sizing?
Also, you guys don't think there's a chance that these are shipped out one wash? Just want to make sure I'm getting a raw pair.

Thanks in advance. I am new to the Iron Heart game

Hi drew, SR's shrink to tag size once they're soaked. If you buy a 31 they will shrink to a 31 but SR's are cut
bigger in the top block and are a looser fit than the 634's.
All new SR's are unwashed unless stated, if you want to be sure drop them an e-mail.Welcome to the forum!

Drew, the link you posted is Rebirth, that is Haraki's (Iron Heart JP) online web store. They should be the raw version.

How do you get the same fit as an S in SR's?

As the SR's are taking a sabbatical while the BB WT's take the strain, its time to give them a wash.
This is the first wash they have had, apart from the initial soak, in nearly 7 months (light-ish) wear.Pre-wash:
Post-wash:
I washed these in the machine 40deg gentle wash, i'm not sure they didn't look better pre-wash. :-
They have shrunk up a little more, at a guess about half inch in the leg, and enough in the waist that I cant button them again.
