M looks better. L is too long in the arms and body.
I seriously doubt you'll get much shrinkage with a normal wash. They are already one-washed.
-
I think med looks better too… you have to go by how it feels on you though. I think if u never dry it and put it on damp to try and stretch it a bit in the places that are tight you should be good. Again though you are the one wearing it so go by how it feels

Medium unless you'll be layering IMO. I don't see that tightness across the chest or other warning signs of snugness.

Thanks all, I’m well chuffed with the responses. I’ll take your esteemed advice and keep the Medium. As my wardrobe slowly grows, my hope is not to be asking just questions. It is however lovely to have a void where likeminded people understand and go out of there way to educate new fans.
Yo, @Anesthetist looks like a Large might be in stock sooner than you think bud

Got my shirt on Thurs but it felt a little too billowy so I tossed it in the washing machine on warm and let it air dry. It came out standing-denim stiff but has quickly mellowed and is starting to form to me. I like the fit and the shirt is pretty damn beautiful.

Love the color on this shirt, nice fit as always @Anesthetist .
You wear L? You look tall for a Large. -
This is a large and I go back and forth between L and XL depending on the shirt. I think this shirt came out a little longer all over than usual but it works well for me. I’m a hair over 6’1 for reference.
