Could be oil/polish/dye/all from the shoe/boot? When I soaked mine I got a mild blue fold line line at the hem. I assumed it had been worked through from the outside of the fold do to repeat-cuffing.(no blue suede here) I'd bet that getting your cuff moist in the morning dew day after day would do the same with time…(if your cuffing)

Funny the photo just seems to show cuff wear.(rubbing cheap brown Blunnies) Not the indigo shadow I wanted to express..

funny how the right knee (the knee on the left in the photograph) is far more faded than the other one. Do you often kneel on one knee like a knight in the middle age when they bowed to the princess???
