Yes…check out thread about repairs.
and to prevent further fraying, soak cuff area properly in hot water, and work fabric with your hands to soften it and get rid of the starch. Change water to clean and repeat soaking and "massaging" the cuff area. Stretch soaked area so there won't be any annoying wrinkles and dip dry.
This might help, or then not... -
These are my new 25 oz. XHS. At first I wasn't too sure about the fit as these are my first IH jeans in the 634 cut.
Dude all ur fits are spot on

That Fit looks great!

I think this will be my next pair of jeans…

Go for it JCM they are totally worth it and u will not be dissapointed by IH's classic cut in xhs
Btw your tattoos are greatFirst I wanted a Samurai Jeans, but they do have too many cuts and do shrink and blabla
Iron Heart is the better choice, my 634S fits perfect!!! DC4 have some 32 sizes left in their onlineshop, that´s my size. Hopefully they have one when I am in Berlin the next time in November!
Thanks man -

Thanks maniH is miles ahead (in my opinion) of Samurai, which is still very nice. The IH 25oz line is so much heavier than all the other brands' 24oz models (Samurai and PBJ, which I also have) it's like day and night in terms of feel. IH 25 fabric feels like an armor even after a year of almost daily wear.
In a word, IH rulezzzz

Yeah - if you see eg. Samurai making these…

Question:
My 634S (size 32/34) has a 36" inseam, and there are some roll-up´s, so I wear a 30" inseam.
The XHS has a 37" inseam, so they are even longer than my 634S. But I dont want to many roll-up´s because 25ounces are really heavy. I wanna hem my inseam, but I dont know how much… Maybe a 33"??? -
New to the forum and to Iron Heart generally - I have a quick question on fit with these jeans:
I'm a weightlifter/powerlifter and often have trouble finding pants that will fit. I generally have to purchase size 40+ waist pants and have the waist taken in to a 34-36 to get pants that fit my legs.
I've measured a pair of pants of mine that fit well and the thigh sits at just a hair over 14 inches. I've noted that the thigh measure on the 36's in the 634's is 13.8". I've also read the posts that most people get a little stretch out of the denim with wear in the waist. Does anyone have experience with stretch in the thigh as well?
I'm in this weird position where I would actually like to shrink the waist by about an inch or so and get no stretch, but would love an extra inch in the thigh.
Any suggestions with this?

Stretch in the thigh is pretty normal. Getting 0.2" in stretch should be no issue
As far as the waist stretching, the waist will only stretch as far as the pressure you apply to it. So if you're wearing a size 36 and you're cramming a 37" waist into it, you're going to wind up with a waist of 37" eventually. The fix for this is to wear a thick belt to avoid stretch
One thing to bear in mind: these jeans are VERY stubborn. I have quite a few pairs of IH denim, and these are the most resistant to stretch. This is both a good and bad thing for you it seems…

Time to get some life in this thread. 6 months old. Worn maybe around 4. One Dr. Bronner - handwash.
I call the comb areas heaven and hell. The right side stayed in place after wash a hundred percent. The left side maybe fiftyThe leather patch is a thirsty mofo. Oiled it three times after the wash and still looks dry.
