Random questions to which you seek an answer

I've no comments on what is or isn't appropriate. I'm not the pc police & think you should be able 2 ask what ever u want 2 whoever u want . . . the cost of that is you should also answer questions.
In any event if I made it seem like it was the end of the world I apologize like I always tend to do on this forum.
Just being me
So, the question, again, is why? Well, something was said in a manner that reminded me of a post made by the person in question and the result was my inquiry. Not sure if you'd like a more thorough examination of things.

@4c:
Do the guys who who dump all over IHUK on "Selvedge and Style forum" still post here? I'm curious, because they make reference to a lot of the information posted in these pages…
Pretty sure I was just ip banned from the IH General Discussion thread…haha. OK?
Perhaps not.

I did just adjust the settings of guests being able to post as a few of the boards were not setup correctly when made. I'll blame the other mods.
I didn't know about it as no guests had posted up until yours.

^ It's pretty weird because I can lurk and view all of the sub-forums except for the Iron Heart board..Why would they restrict just one sub-forum? Curiouser and curiouser..
I adjusted this as this was set wrong also.
Once again nothing personal. Hard to get good help these days.
Thanks for being our quality control. -
Appreciate the honesty, @winterland

Would really appreciate some help.. Has anyone ever ordered from Okayama Denim to the UK? If you have, thoughts on service, speed, packaging and whether you were stung with ridonkulous import or customs charges?

EDIT: proof one should not post before appropriate levels of caffiene are reached.

Not from UK, but I live in Europe. Ordered some jeans around christmas. Service was good, hemmed to correct measurements, shipping through EMS (tracked). Nothing to complain, didn't even get hit with custom charges.

Thanks @Miiks that's encouraging..

Has anyone ever actually listened 2 anyone & changed their thoughts on a subject, course of action, opinion, anything?
Folks just talk at each other & do whatever they was gonna do anyway.
-
Seems pretty common these days. Conversation has become the exchange of (maybe) different subjective points of view, but you rarely see somebody change his mind after hearing the other person. Internet Forums are a good (or bad) example for this.

On our journeys to become qualified counsellors, both myself and Black Orchid had to spend a good few years at college and university. One element of our training was developing the skill and art of listening which is fundamental to counselling and psychotherapy. I was surprised at how much "stuff" can get in the way of active listening.
I read something along my journey which I have remembered and use often; "Awareness, Process, Reflect, Transform".
Develop more Awareness of what people say to you and you say to them
Process what you hear in these exchanges
Reflect on what was said by all parties
Transform ineffective beliefs / attitudes / feelings / behaviours / actions for more effective ones.
It really helps and works for me. However, being human, this only works when I am "consciously aware" and not "asleep, dreaming that I am awake" -

My opinion is that 99% of humanity is selfish scum. Won't bother with 'm. The other 1% are either dead, in jail, or are mates.
