@Giles Damn, I might have to buy a new shirt and gamble on an octopus sticker then. It's the only logical thing to do.
-
@RobeOfTheMagi now this is logic that makes sense. That new neon light sticker is worth £250 with a free pair of 14oz indigo/black thrown in right?
-
is it possible to update the title of my selling thread with a reduced price? Or should i not have put it there, and only put price on the message itself? i'm an incompetent noob.

@RobeOfTheMagi said in Random questions to which you seek an answer:
you still have any of these cool octopus stickers left
I got one this week with my order of a pair of shorts. You'll just have to keep buying things until you get lucky, but they still had some as of Tuesday when my last order went out.

@WhiskeySandwich should be able to edit it in the post. Just make sure if you have multiple posts in the thread, it’s the first one you edit.
Also just looked at my own for sale post on mobile — when you hit edit, the title is at the very top and sorta doesn’t look like you can edit it, but you can if you click on it. I usually do this on my laptop and I think it’s clearer on the desktop version, but I’m outta the house at the moment.

Is any starch applied to the duck fabric like it is with denim?

I’ve just knocked the top button off of my Toys McCoy trucker cap and can’t find the thing... does anyone know where to buy a decent quality replacement? After ten mins on google all that’s coming is really poor quality stuff on Etsy or Amazon. The part that was left in the hat looks like the male part of a snap and looks way better quality than the stuff I’m managing to find
Any advice would be appreciated!

@DeeDee85 gah snap

@Heavy_blue I’ve already looked IH UK have the USA one in stock but it would mean cutting a little bit of the hat away to fit the male part of the snap through unfortunately..

888 Fit Guidance
Hi, I’ve tried multiple different cuts of iron heart jeans. I finally got some 888 14oz in waist 32. To start with I thought they’d be way too tight but I persevered and they have now stretched out to more or less my ideal fit. Perhaps a tiny but tight in the thigh still but basically a really good fit as the waist has stretched out a bit with wear. I had dabbled with 666 in w34 which fit well everywhere except the waist which began to really annoy me as the excess material would bunch up. W32 in 666 the thigh was ludicrously tight for me so not possible , but fit well on the waist .
So my question is this. If 888 14oz fits me well in 32 after wearing them in, can I expect something similar with the heavier weight 888s? I am keen to get some 21oz but want to know if w32 will also be the right fit for me in the heavyweight as I wonder if there’s a bit less give/stretch?
Many thanks

@wildeep I’ve moved your question to here.
My best advice is to drop the guys at IHUK an email: shop@ironheart.co.uk and they will be more than happy to give you a hand figuring out what works the best for you.

Last fall I bought a pair of 777's size 38. They fit snug as they should, however after a few wears around the house my wife and I had the same opinion. The rise on them was sawing me in half visually. For the record I'm 6'5" 195cm and 230lbs/104kg
I'm all about showing off my boots so a small hem is important. Considering 555 and 666 as slim fit is my favorite. I'm currently wearing a pair of PBJ 019 that fit and look good but not slim enough. I'm afraid the 888 would be very close to the 019(relaxed taper). I've got several IH shirts that are great and a type 3 jacket. Time for some jeans I can keep... I didn't lose a ton selling the first pair but it was still a bummer. I have to have them hemmed(34) because nobody near me can do it right. This the no return issue. -

@wildeep my question was just moved here too. Very off putting to see real questions buried to no man's land. Not sure what other purpose a.forum provides other than answering questions...
