Have you tried New Balance?
I know its a different aesthetic from converse/vans, but you do still get that super classic look. I like the 574s, 996s, 1300s…

Or your could go for Reebok Classics…not something I see around alot, but in that same vintage vein.

Or you could go the classic Nike route. I'm a big fan of the Blazer:

And also the cortez (not my favorite….but a classic nonetheless)

And I know there are more I'm forgetting…

Thanks for all the assists guys, up until about 4 years ago I was quite a sneaker head but Whites have ruined me for sports shoes.
I've gone against my better judgement and opted for some winterised CT's (made of leather, lined etc). Hoping they work out.

The Premium line from Converse are super comfortable, they have better quality insoles.
Also, Buttero, Common Projects and Svensson make nice shoes.
If I could get some of these I'd be a happy dude.

I can't believe no one has suggested PF Flyers yet. Seriously, classic vintage look, and reasonable arch support. If you don't like it, the insole is removable, so you can pop in an aftermarket one. Go with the Center, either high or low. All that for around $50.
What is wrong with you people? Hell, they're even Injun Jack approved…

Ok, forget Gav's question. He bought some sneakers already.
Which companies make boots in a light Natural leather right now?
Like this, but not hikers.

I know this question has been asked to death, and it's the bane of this forum…but thats not gonna stop me.
If I can wear a 38" waist jean snug but comfy, it would make sense to do either the IHxB01 in a 38 (37 measured, but with stretch over time) or the 666XHS in a 38 (39 measured, but little/no stretch). That makes sense, right?

Wear them, enjoy them, don't over think the experience and worry about if you're doing it right, just get it done.

And post pics!

Does anyone know who makes these boots? I know the laces are from The Blue lace Project but I can't find any boots that look like this.

If I'm a size M in regular tee shirts (eg. IH tees), would I be an M in Hanes Beefy tees?
Should be. I'm a Large in both.

Has anybody handled the HTC belts that self edge sells? I really like the looks of them but I feel like I may think they're too insubstantial for how much they are.
