described Engineer Boots as "Chillin' boots", and that's how I really view them. On my days off when I can't be bothered with laces, or tightly fitting footwear, or when I just want something really comfortable, I reach for my Engineer Boots. They're great for traveling because I can walk 8 miles a day with them with zero issues, and they're like your favorite pair of jeans. They fit just right, they're super comfortable, and they're like an old friend.
Exactly what I think of mine, once I've got them on. Always a shame to take them off.

I wear cowboy boots and I'm allergic to horses.

Allergic to cats, horses and rabbits. And we have a pet rabbit.
Julie's trying to kill me, I'm pretty sure.

We have a rabbit also. They are awesome.

Wonder if you could give me some help on a pair of jeans. I want a pair for work and these are going to get smashed and may even catch on fire. I am a boilermaker/ welder/ fabricator depending where you live. My current steel feathers don't give me much movement maybe the weight and cut, but I need to be able to climb ladders, climb over things, kneel down and what other ridiculous position I need to make my self fit to get the job done, something my other jeans won't let me do easy. I currently wear normal cotton drill work pants. Cheers

vulcans or beatle busters if you doing jeans. if you want work pants you can get a pair of 801s, 804s or 816s.
I say get a pair of IH coveralls (805, 806, 812 & I'm pretty sure I'm still missing one) & give them hell

Can't do coveralls, need to wear hi-vis shirts, I want to do jeans too. [emoji1]
Just found out my current cotton drill are 310 gsm around 9 oz. So maybe the triple work 634 15oz. Otherwise I will cook my self when it gets to 30 c -
Is neitenhosen no longer an active member? Tried searching members to contact him but not seeing him… Anyway, if anyone would be kind enough to perhaps point me in the direction to get a hold of him I would appreciate it. Interested in having a few shirts made if he is still doing this..thanks

edit: it helps to spell the name right. Nietenhosen, not Neitenhosen (I'm just assuming that from your typo in your question above )

Ha… Damn I'm a dummy. Thanks b_F.

Has IH stepped away from doing limited runs of 35s?
That size seems to be where so many skinny-fat or fat-skinny people fall….

sensible answer.
thanks for the response.
so either i stay skinny or fat, no more in between for me. think fat is much more fun.

Hi all,
I'm a newbie to the forum, and I'm looking forward to some good conversation about great clothing.
In the vein of that, I want to ask a question that has been bugging me for some time:
Does anyone know anywhere reliable in London that will be able to do a good job of sewing on some good quality brace/suspender buttons to some IHxB01s? I also need the pocket bag repairing, so if somebody could so that job too?
Finally, does anyone know of some secret place in the UK to get hold of some drill trousers/khakis with brace/suspender buttons other that RRL, at a reasonable enough price?
Thanks in advance!
