IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
-
If I am a tag size 32 in the 21 oz 666 cut, would I be the same for the 25 oz or are people sizing up due to shrinkage?
-
Hey @gsa215 These are going to shrink approximately 1" when first washed or soaked but then stretch out to approximately pre-wash sizing with wear so I would run a tape across what waist fits you well and compare to the size chart, factoring in enough room for shrinkage and stretch back out to approximately where they started. Atleast this is what I found to happen exactly with my pair of 666-XHS.
If we are out of stock of your size, these are in production and will be back early next year with the XHSib coming a bit sooner.

At 26 wears, you take what you can get
-
Both the same, one 34W, the other 35W - like them both the same… 34 = 10 wears, 35 = 26., neither washed.

Oh exciting!!! Whilst I'd love to see the 21oz in ib ... the XHS may do just fine. Hopefully measurements line up. Will these be contrast or tonal stitching?

Hi guys! Are there any advice about sizing? Should I go one size up or use my normal 33?
Do they shrink a lot? -
I take the same size on both 21oz and XHS. They shrink, but after wear they stretch back to original size and a little more. Consult the sizing chart and get a pair with similar measurements to your 21oz and you will be just fine.

Is there a forum dedicated to the 633-XHS cut?
-
@xXclown86Xx not that I am aware of, or that we have created. There are some older threads about Self Edge exclusive jeans, but not that model

Is a restock planned in the near future?

Nothing a proper hemming won’t resolve. 56 wears, no washes/soaks.
-
Quick question. Looking to try out the 25oz, my situation is that I can’t really have cuffs due to my work environment. As much as I’d love to wear the jeans for a while before hemming, I’d need to have them hemmed from the start.
My only other pair of raw denim are UB 201 in 14.5, Which I had hemmed to 29 and after a wash they’re at 28. They could stand to be about a half inch shorter, but the 28 is OK. I know it’s hard to say, but from reading the forums, it looks like I can expect about an inch of inseam shrinkage on the 25oz as well.
Would you say that’s accurate? I’m ok with a half inch swing shorter, but not longer. Should I hem to 28 1/2 or stick with the 29?
Thanks!

@brenman email the shop: shop@ironheart.co.uk and they will sort you out or use the live chat feature on the sale page.
Works awesome and the guys are the best resource for these kind of questions.
-
@brenman why not just hem 1-1/2” long and anticipate a re-hem later?

75 wears, 75 to go. No washes / soaks.
