One of these days maybe @Steve. I also have a load of broken leads I can do something with eventually. It’s nice that they can still be useful after they are no longer useful!

My hands are not as small as theirs
My fingers hurt!

I love working with Damascus.

@Jett129 No. It just evolves until the paper can’t take any more. Each peace is essentially a conglomeration of multiple compositions, hopefully woven together through time into a unique and fascinating paradox of figure and ground. It’s not a good way to have an art career, but it produces some unique artifacts that I’m proud to have had the opportunity to create. Thanks for asking!

I should’ve described myself better, apologies. There is definitely planning involved between layers, as to what to do next in order to unite the previous layers into some vaguely coherent whole, but most of the peaces I’ve posted here all began as something else and evolved into their final composition serendipitously. That will change in the future as I begin new ones and try to integrate what I’ve learned in the process of finishing the old projects, but I still have a few that I’m working on where I’m just making it up as I go. The symmetry is useful for the last few that have come to completion because I was attempting to channel a psychedelic zen garden and the pareidolia and implied order is useful to the experience, even on a base geometric level.
