Put some swarovski crystals on my daughters denim jacket….....
She’s only 3. Amazed she didn’t harass the f**k out of me the entire time

For whatever reason, I've been making tables recently. Julie wanted something to go over the dog's kennel to make it less ugly and more useful, since it takes up a fair amount of space. So I made what she requested. There are some things I'd do differently, were I to build another, but it turned out better than I expected.

Pretty impressive project @Chris. I think it turned out really well.
Woodworking has always been something I wanted to try but dont have near the space or time or skill quite frankly.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks, guys. Like I said, it turned out better than I expected. Don't be fooled, though- I'm still generally useless.

Here’s an oil painting I just finished this evening.
Land Of The Free
Oil on canvas
24 in x 36 in
Bonus pic: Wearing my hickory stripe apron. The stripes do a great job of not showing stains.

Shortly before the pandemic I got a new bed and wanted to make a headboard for it. I got a decent amount of cherry for the project and spent last week designing and building one with my uncle in his wood shop. I took some photos so I thought I'd share them here. I've slowly been trying to build, restore, or buy Arts and Crafts or Mission Style furniture over the past few years in hopes of someday soon having all matching furniture.

If I had a mini sewing machine I’d go through my closet and upcycle clothes I no longer wear into face masks. Think of the possibilities - you could make a mask with an old faded pair of jeans and flannel or whatever

Great job @Palmer
I jumped off the wrong career ladder about fifteen years ago and was offered a couple of weeks working with a friend’s husband in landscape construction while I made a plan. I stretched that fortnight out to five years. Woodwork was always satisfying.
