Rather than clogging up this thread, I've created my own thread to share my leather work with you guys. http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5282.new#new

Anybody used these guys to get your leather for projects?

If not could anyone suggest a good UK supplier?
Thanks in advance

You in London Jord? S&K Fittings is good for tools and components, and for leather there is JT Batchelors around the corner (good quality veg tan, all thicknesses and decent price). They also do decent tools but more expensive than s&k for basics. and if your after some nicer leathers theres george at 20th century leather in hackney who has amazing quality italian calf etc end of runs for normal leather pricing. S&K do phone orders and sure batchelors do too if your not in London, Not so sure about 20th though

Nothing yet mate. Just really fancy giving it a go, I have been recommended a book called "The Art of Hand Sewing Leather" By Al Stohlman by seawolf who has been very helpful with answering any questions I've had, the book Is on it's way so as soon say it arrives ill be reading that a few times over

Hey Guys,
I recently made this black notebook cover and a speed strip pocket pouch for a buddy and they’re on the way home to Hawaii now. I made the pouch so that the speed strip could be stored horizontally or vertically inside the pouch, and the pouch is long enough to also accommodate .357 case lengths. Hope you like it, Sean!

Needing to replace the woven inserts that had fallen out of my favourite old cufflinks, I had a flash of inspiration - denim!
Fishing out the off cuts from my MBB's, I cut out a couple of small sections, et voila,
Need to trim a bit then fix in place, but I reckon it looks good, and it'll be interesting to see the 'evo' develop
