Between still breaking in my new Lefty Trucker, and waiting (im)patiently for the White Windbreaker to drop tomorrow, I’m also out for now…
...but it’s only a matter of time [emoji51]
It does seem quite Gorgeous in color and everything else. I like that it's got the hand warmer pockets and is a bit longer than the usual.
I'm being prompted to double check my measurements by Adam, which I'm sure is a good idea. I ordered Large which is my usual size. I'd be little shocked if I'm a medium and am not a XL for sure.
I'm 5'10', 190 lbs., waist 37", shoulders are average, used to be wider lol
I'll measure my old Lucky jacket which I still get tons of comments on but it's always been a bit tight at the bottom
Cheers

@Shanman11 knowing someones height and weight is of limited use when judging sizing. It doesn’t say much about how the garment will fit. Measuring something similar you own the IH way is a better strategy. Do you know what size you are in IH shirts? Also, how do you plan to wear this, over a tee or with more layers?

PatrickHi Patrick,
I am 5’10”, 170lbs and waist 34”. I usually wear a Large in Iron Heart jackets, but sometimes an XL. I wear a M in typical high street brands.
I recommend studying the measurements carefully in comparison to existing jackets that you own, but I’d imagine you’ll be an XL or maybe bigger. I’d be surprised if a Large fits. I could be wrong though.

As usual of course you're Correct Sir ! Measuring now on another jean jacket.
I don't like to have much under a jean jacket ie; maybe one long sleeve wool/capilene base layer once it gets cold or a thinner pullover hoody type deal, usually a T-shirt is my fave but long sleeves once the cold starts kicking !! -

Patrickupdate: after measuring that other fave jacket, yes indeed, 4 out of 5 measurements ticked in the XL column !
So I emailed the change to Adam but I think it's like 8;30 over there by now so I missed it getting shipped out until at least tomorrow I would assume,
thanks guys !!

But great work with the measuring. Sounds like XL will be a good fit…

XL sounds a lot better than L for a man of your height and weight.
It might be worth double checking the waist and opening as they are still relatively slim even on the XL. In other words, would an XXL be more comfortable? Or maybe a little bit too big?

I wear a large in most brands, but I have everything from XL-XXXL in Iron Heart[emoji2371]

thanksUgh it is such a gorgeous jacket. I measured but it still came way to tight across my protruding disgusting "Rona Gut"
I'm gonna order shipping return for a XXL, I'm shocked, bummed, but now that Ive put my hands on it, I really must have it !!! -
Shame… how is the chest/shoulder/arms?
It's all good now brother !! the XXL actually is pretty perfect just got it !!

Got delivered yesterday along with blanket lined CPO ( IHSH-252-IND ) both in medium. I’ve put on about 15lbs in the last few months and went up a pant size so my other jackets were pretty tight. Thinking this fits pretty well for now, and should fit even better once i lose some of the weight. The 14.7oz is pretty breathable was 60 heat today and felt great over a tshirt. Excited to see how this ends up looking in a couple months.
-
Yep, that’s an absolutely ideal fit right there!
