I've spent the last couple of years at school working towards a getting a job in software development or system administration. I recently came to the realization that I was only doing that because it was something I'm decent at, not because I had any real passion or desire to do it.
Realizing this, dropping all but the essential classes I need to graduate, and allowing myself the freedom to explore other options has made me infinitely happier and for the first time in a few years I feel like I'm making positive steps forward instead of feeling like I'm stagnating…
tldr; life is good, and so is the beer I'm drinking

What do you want to do? I work for a pretty large firm, PM me if there's something in technology or marketing/business you're looking to do, we may have something for you, and we have offices all over the place.

I'm actually taking almost a total 180 and would like to lay down some roots down in the MI beer industry. That's as specific as I'll get publicly (feel free to pm), but I'm planning to spend the next few months attending a few trade shows and doing some research to refine a business plan to present to some potential investors…
I really appreciate the offer mclain and depending on how this venture goes I may just get in contact with you.

If you would like to work for a week or 2 in our brewery learning shit that may be interesting/useful to take back to MI, I am sure I could swing that for you….

I find myself spending more and more time appreciating the classic styles of the 20's to the 60's, does this mean I'm growing up? Should I join the Fedora Lounge?

It means you're really, really drunk.
And if you're going to start dressing like your grandpa, you might as well join his forum.

Late to the party, but congrats DD and to the Mrs. Glad I could help out indirectly
