It was quite emotional opening up the cartons. Bernadette even sent me some bits and bobs that I had gifted Mike over the years....

And to crown it all, at the bottom of the last carton I opened, was, and I kid you not, this....

I have been talking to Alissa, Mikes sister over the last couple of days. Mike lived with and supported his mother, Bernadette. Bernadette needs money to stay on living in her home. She was going to sell Mike's clothing to help herself fiscally, I told her that I was probably in a better position to do that than her. Touché! I can see the IHSH-17 red chambray lined! An amazing piece. Insane. One of many reasons why Iron Heart is so special. Mike bought it from me two or three years ago. He had decided the price himself. Too generous of course. A contact/chat was open since then.
Missing definitely Mike!

I hope we are able to raise a mint for Bernadette and Pickles. I’m so glad that @goosehd and @Giles are already scheming a way to keep those bibs at IHUK. As it should be.
