The music you hear from your dad will often inform your later taste too. I grew up listening to old Springsteen in the car and my dad dubbed me Hendrix and the Beatles as my first ever cassette. Fast-forward 20-25 years and I've come full circle back to a lot of that stuff. It was funny putting on The River and realising that I knew all the songs from my childhood without even being aware of it.

Guys, Tommy has pretty good taste in music, he hears a lot from me and always says so if he doesn't like it. It's easy to spot when he really likes a song as he sings it at the top of his voice in the car

We have just been warned that a local religious group is planning a protest outside of my work place this afternoon, about Pakistani civilians killed in from attacks last week. However, we don't make anything that goes in the drones.
As the religious group is affiliated with the Catholic Church I was wondering if it would be ok for me to respond to their chants of "murderer" with my own chant of " pedophile", and maybe protest outside the church on a Sunday morning?

We build radar systems for civil and military use, and parts for rail, racing cars, communications, and targeting systems. We have no direct involvement in the building or supply of munitions. I simply believe that this is a case of barking up the wrong tree.

Ill just keep my mouth shut.
Feel free to express to me in private Mike, I don't take things personally, respect the opinions and thoughts of others, and I'm prepared to be shown new ways of thinking
Edit: For anyone interested, my discussion with Mike has resulted in us both being in complete agreement.

You know those signs at the zoo that says, "Don't tap on glass" and "Don't feed the animals" ?? Same applies here. You're not seeing rational/intelligent folks there…
I hope it stays non-violent and you're safe at work.
