Bruce Springsteen new DVD recorded in London is very nice. The guy exudes niceness and pure vibes. And he has the elegance to start his show by covering the Clash's "London Calling" and the humility to sing it not as well as the Clash so the Brits can think they are still number one… (just kidding, mates). 3 hour show without "Born in the USA", "Adam Raised a Cain", etc... but wicked tunes still. Here is "Born to run"

Just to make a quick comment on your Bruce Springsteen exudes niceness statement, I have a friend whose father went to high school with Springsteen. A couple of years ago, their class had its 40th reunion, and Springsteen actually showed up for it. How many rock stars go to their high school reunions? If that doesn't lock down his regular guy credentials, I don't know what does.

I think of this band a lot while I'm wearing IH. Not wearing any IH now, but still enjoying 'End of Radio'

His last album, which was produced by the late great Willie Mitchell (the man behind Al Green's HUGE records in the 70's), was called "Nothing is impossible" and was absolutely badass. I visited the Royal Studios in Menphis last July and Boo Mitchell, who took the studios after his dad passed, played me new tracks by Solomon and they were incredible.
