Kid Brother Collective - Highway Miles. This one's kinda special, was randomly given this CD at some show quite a few years ago and it's always stuck with me. Great album by some dudes from Flint, MI. One of my friends (http://www.lansingscene.com/lprecords/) decided to re release it vinyl, plus I get the chance to see them play in a few days! It's also streaming at punk news I believe for those interested…My best discovery of the year goes to the LA Gemstones: Pop and Rock Compilations. A whole bunch of great 60's pop and rock (http://crystalsphere1.blogspot.com/search/label/V%2FA%20-%20L.A.%20Gemstones)
and then there's my guiltiest pleasure of the year, which is Ke$ha's Warrior.
A little disjointed, but I think that about does it…

I just want to take a moment to say Godspeed, Mike Scaccia. Mike was the guitarist of Ministry and Rigor Mortis, and for a few years, he was the Gibson Guitar rep when I worked at Guitar Center. He died on stage last night. He was a super great dude, and had some great stories, and was a killer guitarist as well. Bummer.
-
for real???? awful news. so sad to read that.
-
Had a seizure in the middle of a Rigor Mortis show in Ft. Worth at a club called The Rail. Told the light guy to turn off the strobes and then collapsed. Unbelievable.
-
Just got my fix.
-
Oh gosh. I'm sorry ahead of time.

Can't stop listening to Devil Makes Three's self titled album. It goes straight into Do Wrong Right which doesn't disappoint, but it's not as good IMO.
Listened to a lot of Megadeth today while at work. Nothing says programming like Dave Mustaine?
Rounded out the day with Queen on the commute home.

Tilts. These guys released one of my very favorite albums of 2012. A "restore-your-faith-in-rock-and-roll" album for sure. My buddy Andrew on guitar and vocals, also plays for Torche, who also released a killer album this year. I think they toured with Converge this fall if I remember correctly.
-
andrew rules. they did tour with us this year. i absolutely love torche and tilts is great as well!
-
Small world! I just saw that show Thursday. Too bad you guys didn't come to St. Louis with Torche, that would have been a great show. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for you guys, hopefully you'll play here next year. Hopefully not at Pop's.
