Not so much a music video but a short video about an artist's story so I thought I'd post here. This one hits close to home cause not only is he from my city but he's from the same part of Phx I grew up in, just a few miles away. I have a friend who know's him and his family but I've never met him. Inspirational to say the least.

I bought some soldering stuff in January and now I build my own guitar pedals. So much fun!!! I love to clone my HM2, but my Clone is much better.
@JCMx800 fellow death metal fan? HM2s are synonymous with it, but I guess you know that
Of course
I'm actually quite surprised how many death metal fans there are on this forum. It's been ages since i've listened to this genre but I was a fan back in the 90's when that scene became popular. Good stuff

Another fan here.

@gaseousclay oh it is very much alive and well…
some of the better known recent death metal bands, but all have a nod to the classic era

re: Burial Invocation, is that some Dan Seagrave cover art I spy? Love his work and could spot his stuff a mile away. He did so many death metal album covers in the 90's and it's dark but lovely stuff.

@Seul dear goodness! I don't do downloads, but apparently this is released on vinyl too…Just haven't found a copy anywhere. One on my favourite bands ever. So good to see the being consistent after such a long time.
I've got a feeling I contributed to the funding of this recording...I bought a crap load of cds from Yannick on discogs!

It's been all over the interwebs but the Eminem vs Machine Gun Kelley beef is officially on. For those that don't know (or those that even care) they've had a little feud ever since MGK posted a tweet in 2012 about Em's underage (at the time) daughter. Eminem released an unannounced album within the past week with the song "Kamikaze" going after MGK…literally a few days later MGK had the balls to punch back lol. It's on...good stuff
MGK isn't the best lyricist but he's not bad...and I've gotta say this is a solid diss track with some hard hitting lines.

Exactly. :D. Let's hope MGK know's what he's in for cause you Know Em has to respond, but props to MGK for having the cojones to fire back. I can't think of too many others who would willingly get involved in a lyrical beef with Eminem.

I don't follow these types of things but on the surface it seems a bit childish. It seems MGK made some comment about Em's daughter being hot as f*ck back in 2012. On the one hand, I kinda understand how Eminem must feel when another rapper objectifies his daughter. On the other hand, I don't see how this is different than some nobody that might make the same comment today. Is Eminem pissed because his daughter was only 16 at the time? Or was it because the comment came from a rapper like himself?
-
I think it's both and I generally don't follow them either but there's a bit more behind it that maybe would make it seem a little less childish from MGK's point of view. For one he's just firing back to Eminems most recent diss…and MGK is also claiming that since the tweet from 12 that Eminem has blacklisted him in the industry which he refers to several times in his diss track. Eminem definitely has the power to do so but whether it's actually true or not..who knows.
At the end of the day it's entertainment and if anything has put MGK in the spotlight. Hell maybe it's all staged to boost his career...who knows.
