Speaking of A Tribe Called Quest, ‘Go Ahead in the Rain’ by Hanif Abdurraqib is beautifully nostalgic and gives a proper account of the group’s sonic development. As far as homages go, William Kroll of Tender Co.’s Pop Punch knitwear made using the patterns from ‘The Low End Theory’ is certainly a highlight https://www.tenderstores.com/brand/poppunch/

D day was brand new to me; ty Adam! Forwarded that song to two good friends.
Covid (maybe mid life) has brought renewed focus to my adolescent jams. This might represent my fever best: (introduced via tape player in my first car–'88 Samurai) E-40 Tha Bumble '95

@adam313 this song makes me laugh every single time. Even the names on the cover of the album make me laugh. I was in a halfway house for a while and my roommate and I would listen to this every day and he would laugh because I knew all the words.

@Filthy C-murder actually lived up to his name lol

That's why that song makes me laugh. Everything they say in that song is so messed up and they are so matter of fact about it. I would have liked to have been the dude that did the back up yelling on that one
Funniest song about armed robbery, incarceration, suicide, ever. /facepalm

Now Im going to have to listen to it
