@Tago-Mago Seeing Pink Floyd perform Comfortably Numb in concert is one of the highlights of my life. The lasers, music, people, and experience may never be matched.

@Tago-Mago Well, people go to events where one guy stands on the stage, pushing buttons. So we're probably halfway there already.

@Tago-Mago Didn't we find out last weekend that we turned indeed into grumpy old men already? Pretty comfortable with that, though.
My argument was not against electronic music per se. But I think that whole DJ-thing has no soul, it's just for the 'put your hands in the air and wave them like you don't care' people. -
Being so much older than pretty much everyone here, and music being such an integral part of my life on so many levels,I’m not sure how/where I fit in the musical discussions. I think it must get tiresome hearing that I saw so and so or in this case Pink Floyd twice at The Fillmore East in 1970 on the heels of Saucer Full of Secrets and Umagumma. Just absolutely amazing, mind blowing shows. I like The Wall but with its massive commercial success I have over listened to it. Never saw them live other than The Fillmore East shows. Apologies if I get on peoples nerves, not essentially looking to one up,just a function of the musical time period I grew up in. I’m always looking to you guys to turn me on to cool new stuff, and that does ,indeed, happen from time to time. Billy Strings an example of that.
