@JerkStore Great minds think alike, and act accordingly. Hopefully next time it will only be a t-shirt or keychain we can't live without...

RE: IHJ-130-BLK-NP - Reversible Tanker Jacket - Black
So the gentleman in the red leather doesn't get mad, I would like to say I most definitely spent quite a bit of time perusing the FAQ's and did some searching, but still have what might be a dumb question as a newer member: can someone give me a quick explanation of what the purpose of the survey portion of the launch post is for? Specifically the Yes/No/Maybe part... like, "Yes, I am interested in this product and will be purchasing"?
Thank you!!

@Matt Same; here's to hoping it is a better match than the 389 (also sent mine back--something about the fit never quite sat right with me unfortunately)!

RE: IHSH-398-CAM - 11oz Corduroy Western Shirt - Camel
Sized down from my nominal UHF size, as the measurements lined up about perfectly in the shoulders/chest. Regrets galore; as others have noted, the armholes are very high, and make for the underarm area being uncomfortably snug, and I wouldn't even characterize myself as having large/broad shoulders or chest. Very frustrating how many times I have lost the guess-your-size-based-on-the-measurements game vs. how much effort I have put into getting that right.

RE: IHJ-130-BLK-NP - Reversible Tanker Jacket - Black
@Giles LOL, I thought it was obvious which was which, but after reading your question I was like "uhh... maybe not"
Anyway, to answer your question, I think it has to do with how the piece is displayed/described on the product page. The first pics are of the model wearing it black side out, with the "tag" of sorts on the "interior" in that configuration, as well as the color designation (IHJ-130-NP-BLK) being black. Ergo, I would think it might be very common for people to subconsciously just assign the black as being the "exterior", and the olive as in the "interior", as that is what most conforms with non-reversible jackets? I guess we could get pretty deep philosophically, but that's what I was thinking, at least...

RE: IHJ-130-BLK-NP - Reversible Tanker Jacket - Black
Received mine, and really like it. The styling is REALLY cool, and goes with a lot of stuff--just a great look! Got the same size as my normal UHF size, and the fit is pretty good; maybe a little extra room for layering, but with its elastic adornments it just kinda 'sucks' to your figure, so being a little on the bigger side is no factor.
Having been eyeing this piece hard since its announcement, I was a little surprised/confused to see the snaps on the interior chest pockets weren't there like they were in the S/S24 preview video. Looking back I do see the subsequent product pics are representative of what you get, but since there was no mention of this change, I just kinda missed the forest for the trees, particularly since I had been revisiting that video many times to check it out, and that version had them. Anyway, the interior of the pocket kinda dips downward, so gravity kinda helps keep things in there, but if I'm riding for example, there's no way I would trust anything important like a wallet to not fall out, which makes me wonder what the point of the pocket is other than looks? Seems like a missed opportunity for a little more functionality? Any thoughts from the experts?

@popvulture That makes sense; was more so trying to square away the purpose of the yes/no/maybe component... FWIW, I selected 'yes' for this one!

RE: IHSH-387-BLK - 7oz Fatigue Cloth Short Sleeved Western Shirt - Black
Did a quick evaluation of the ol' birthday suit in the mirror, lol, and looks like I could stand to shed a bit of McDonald's from my torso, so between doing that and just giving this piece cold washes only, I think it will work.
Always appreciate the .02 cents--thank you!! I think I mentally get 'used' to that tailored fit, and larger clothes just feel weird once that acclimation to the former sets in; ergo, I tend to reach for different fabrics better suited for the [very] hotter months instead of larger dims.

@goosehd It was actually a different person I was thinking back to, but regardless I most appreciate the inside info and explanation--it had been driving me bonkers trying to find the answer! Thank you!

RE: IHSH-387-BLK - 7oz Fatigue Cloth Short Sleeved Western Shirt - Black
Report from the 3rd horseman, lol: Man... I am smack dab right in the middle of you two. The measurements are in alignment with other shirts I have that fit wonderfully, but there is something about the fabric that needs to be taken into account, I think. It is VERY robust... and I don't mean it is super thick or heavyweight(although ya'll must have pretty mild summer heat if you think this is what a lightweight summer shirt fabric is, lol), but rather it has absolutely zero stretch or give to it.
So anyway... kinda in that position which I'm sure many of you can relate, that while it is tight across the shoulders if I bend over and tie my shoes or similar range of motion, the fit is more or less perfect right now. That said, the other side of the coin is if this SOB shrinks after I wash it, I may not be able to pull it off. Currently marinating in that dilemma, and weighing my chances of being able to wash and avoid any shrinkage.
